Summer Bugs

All Terrain Herbal Armor Spray Insect Repellent

If you are venturing out this summer with your family into the woods where you are likely to encounter bugs such as mosquitoes, ticks and black flies, then you need to arm yourself with a good bug repellent spray. There are different kinds of bug repellent sprays around – the herbal kind or the ones with DEET. And I, for one, do not want to spray chemicals onto my family’s skin, if not absolutely essential.

The All Terrain Herbal Armor Spray Insect Repellent is made from five natural essential oils: citronella, soybean, peppermint, cedar, lemongrass and geranium. These ingredients are known to be natural bug repellents and are clinically proven to be effective in keeping biting pests at bay.

I also like the fact that this spray is water-resistant and does not feel sticky when applied onto your skin. It also comes in a handy little bottle, the perfect size to fit anywhere in your backpack.

All in all, I would certainly buy this herbal product instead of a DEET containing bug repellent. It is eco-friendly and can be used even on sensitive skin.

Pro-Tick Remedy Tick Removal System

Ticks can be very unpleasant if they attach themselves to you, your kids or dogs when walking in the woods. I am sure that if you have had to remove them from your kids or yourself at some point or another – you’ll know it is not a pleasant task, but the right tool can make it so much easier.

I like the Pro-Tick tool, as it comes with a small chain that can be used to attach it to your backpack or your key ring. That way, you always have it with you when outdoors. The tool fits neatly around the tick’s head, so you can pull out the entire tick without leaving any bits behind.

The product also comes with a 5x teardrop magnifier aid and a tick identification card to identify the tick type. It is important to remove the tick as soon as possible as ticks can carry harmful diseases.

Overall, I think that everybody who loves hiking in the woods needs to own a tick removal tool, such as the one above. It also comes at a very good price.
