Remembrance Day Crafts
Find some Remembrance Day crafts for kids.
- To make an easy poppy, take 4 heart shapes and glue them together, points facing inward. Top with a green or black circle in the middle.
- Veteran’s Day painting and paper craft project. Have children paint a nature scene. Once the paint is dry, glue on small construction paper poppies to fit the scene.
- Symbols of peace make great Veteran’s Day crafts. A dove holding a string of poppy evokes a powerful image.
- Veteran’s Day Paper Wreath: Cut out a wreath shape with green construction paper, red poppies and green or black middles. Young children can glue the poppies to the wreath.
- Dye coffee filters with red food coloring to make a more realistic looking poppy paper craft.
- Egg cartons can become poppies. Cut the corners of each eggcup, fold each side out slightly and paint red. Glue a small pompom in the center and add a green pipe cleaner stem.
